I interviewed the renowned Georgia in a busy computer lab at
the university she attended. It seemed to be the only place available so there
we were. I asked her of her earliest memory and she tells me about her hometown
of Newbury and memories of her mum taking her to the marketplace in town,
soaking wet of the torrential rain – her mom that is. Georgia herself was sitting
comfortably in her push-chair sheltered by a plastic cover. “It was pissing
rain with tonnes of drips pouring down. Mom was getting soaked,” she explained with
little sympathy. “I was just a toddler,” she says while telling me that this
was not the most exciting memory she has. Although the marketplace is still
there and the earliest memory poor Georgia has of her hometown and the old marketplace
is torrential rain and her mom soaked while doing her regular shopping.
“The most exciting memory I have must be when I went to
Edinborough Fringe festival,” she explains with eagerness building in her
voice. She starts rumbling about this comedian guy that fancied her friend
while she sits on the table with feets up high explaining details of his
peculiar fashion wear and odd friend.
- Renowned? I feel honoured, sir!
- Glad you accurately quoted me on the "pissing rain" bit - I'm terribly poetic
- I hope I didn't sound too unsympathetic!
- I do ramble - glad you noticed, haha
- Well noted details - seriously though, his clothes were bloody mental
